Julien Advent is the gentleman Victorian explorer. Julien runs the Night Times Newspaper (whose motto is 'All the News, Dammit'). He is one of the few pillars of integrity of Nightside, and occasionally lends John Taylor assistance.
He eventually ends up becoming part of the new Authorities, standing up to the Walking Man.
