John Taylor is one of the many residents in the Nightside, he is the main charactor in the Nighside series. He is the first Private Investgator in the Nighside and all other are only pale imatetors orcording to some. He is one of the few who grow up in the Nightside.But his childhood was far from perfect, his mother disappeared early on in his life and his father drank himself to death after finding out who his wife really where.

He has a talent for finding things and his most powerfor talant is his thired eye that can find anything as long has he is asking the right question. John also have some diluted werewolf blood in him so he can heal very rapidly, There is not enough to turn him in to a werewolf, but there is enough for a werewolf to smell it on him.

He also knows a trick where he can remove the bullets from a gun or alot of guns if need to, but people have starting to know that trick very well and have begun to use fasers and other types of energy wepons that don´t have bullets. John however have tweeked his trick so know he can pull out fillings from your teeth.

In his white cote he has things that can be helpfull like, the spice pepper that one can throw in someones face, he also carrys a Aboriginal pointing bone that can kill if one point it at someone and say a cretain word.
